FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: interference detector of a moving sea object comprises a radiation unit, a signal processing unit with receiving channels, a unit for calculating cross-correlation functions and decision making, an adaptive filter, the output of which is connected through an amplitude detector to the input of a recording device and then to the input of an information display unit. The fundamental distinction of the invention is the additional unit for calculating cross-correlation functions and decision making included in the device and additional N receiving channels included in the signal processing unit.
EFFECT: enabling detection of a low-noise moving sea object in a shallow water environment owing to compensation for background hydroacoustic noise in the adaptive filter, high noise-immunity when detecting a moving sea object.
