MARINE OBJECT NOISE EMISSION LEVEL RECORDING METHOD Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G01S15/04

Abstract RU 2659186 C1

FIELD: hydro acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hydro acoustics, namely to the marine object noise emission level recording method. According to the invention, the marine object noise emission level recording method is in that in the receiving devices first the water space noise field “reference” amplitude-frequency characteristic (AFC) is recorded. “Reference” AFC is recorded for further processing in the primary signal processing unit in order to determine the receiving devices pair with maximum value of the cross-correlation coefficients between the first and second, the first and third,… first and N-th receiving devices in the cross-correlation function calculating and the decision making unit. Next, the marine water area water space noise field “reference” AFC is received by all receiving devices and supplied to the cross-correlation function calculating and the decision making unit corresponding inputs, where the optimal channel is selected, from which the water space “reference” AFC (interference) will be supplied. With the marine object passage in the first receiving device location area, emitting the hydro acoustic multifrequency signal from the measured object itself to the water space during the entire time of the passage recording. During the marine object in the water space registration, the water space “working” AFC is formed in the first receiving device location area, which is supplied to the adaptive filter first input and to the signal secondary processing unit signals conditioning unit first input through the previously selected first receiving channel. At the same time, the water space “reference” AFC from the mutually correlated function calculating and the decision making unit output is supplied to the signal ratio calculating unit second input and the adaptive filter second input. After processing in the secondary signal processing unit adaptive filter, the marine object “working” AFC is formed, which is supplied to the marine object AFC correction unit first input. At the same time, the calculated signal correlation value between the first receiving device and the previously selected in the cross-correlation function calculation and decision making unit receiving device, is supplied to the marine object AFC correction unit second input. With the marine object passage in the first receiving device area, the generated marine object “working” AFC is adjusted during the measured object entire passage time. After this, recording the marine object AFC. Principal difference of the claimed invention is that the claimed method implemented in the proposed marine object noise level recording device additionally uses radiation unit, signals correlation calculation unit, as well as the marine object AFC adjusting unit, as a result of which it becomes possible to suppress non-stationary interferences and to obtain more accurate, undistorted marine objects noise level values. This advantage contributes to the qualitative solution of problems in measuring and normalizing the marine objects noise emission.

EFFECT: proposed is the marine object noise emission level recording method in a wide frequency band, which can be used to record and measure the moving marine object primary hydro acoustic field parameters (in particular, hydro acoustic pressure).
