SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heat-transfer composition which includes trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (R-1234ze(E)), fluoroethane (R-161) and a third component selected from difluoromethane (R-32) and/or 1,1-difluoroethane (R-152a) Said heat-transfer composition is used in a lubricating composition, in a composition containing a fire retardant, in a heat exchanger, when producing a foaming agent, in a foaming composition, in foam, when cooling or heating articles, in a method of extracting substances from biomass, from an aqueous solution with a solvent, from a dispersion solid matrix and in a method of cleaning articles. Said composition is also used in a mechanical device for generating energy, in a method of modifying a heat exchanger (cooling apparatus) and in a method of obtaining greenhouse gas emission quotas.
EFFECT: achieved by replacing existing coolants, such as R-134a, R-152a, R-1234yf, R-22, R-410, R-407A, R-407B, R-507 and R-404a.
