FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a heat exchange composition, which is applicable to substitute existing coolants, which are expected to have a reduced global warming potential (GWP). A heat transfer composition contains trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluorpropene (R-1234ze(E)), carbon dioxide (R-744) and a third component specified in 2,3,3,3-tetrafluorpropene (R-1234yf), 3,3,3-trifluorpropene (R-1243zf) and mixtures thereof.
EFFECT: inventions provide coolants with a combination of the improved properties - reduced global warming potential, inflammability and toxicity alongside with good cooling performance and miscibility with lubricants.
