SUBSTANCE: charging port locking device includes vehicle charging port into which charging connector is plugged to supply charging power to accumulator; catching element on charging connector restricting connector detachment from charging port and providing connector detachment from charging port. Also, the device includes limiter on a vehicle which limiter switches the catching element between limited and unlimited condition, and locking drive which operates limiter between locked and unlocked position. The catching element and the limiter do not contact with each other in limited condition of the catching element.

EFFECT: accidental detachment of charging connector from charging port is prevented.
