FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a repair-insulating packing compound based on magnesite cements and can be used in the oil and gas industry when drilling and servicing oil, gas and water wells. The repair-insulating packing compound based on magnesite cements containing magnesium oxide and water comprises magnesium sulphate heptahydrate, sodium hexametaphosphate and nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid additionally in the following proportions, wt %: magnesium oxide 44.71-55.56, magnesium sulphate heptahydrate 13.33-22.47, water 29.47-35.77, sodium hexametaphosphate 0.1-2.7, nitrilotrimethylphosphonic acid 0.1-1.14.
EFFECT: creating the repair-insulating packing compound based on magnesite cements possessing the following properties: controllability and predictability of the setting time of the packing stone to the exact minute in various barothermal conditions from sub-zero (minus 5°C) temperatures to 180°C; preventing the structural characteristics loss when the material exists in a water-bearing medium; providing the sedimentation stability of the solution.
