FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for oil-extracting industry, namely to units for oil and water separation of production of oil wells. The separator contains a string with pipelines for gas-liquid mix supply of and oil, water and gas removal , and the string consists of two and more sections connected among themselves, each of which contains a straight pipe section, the pipelines for gas-liquid mix supply and oil and water removal are connected to sections by the branch pipes for gas-liquid mix supply and oil and water removal, and outlets of oil and water removal branch pipes are connected, respectively, to oil settling and water settling parts of sections. The lower end of each section is plugged. Meanwhile diameters of sections are made equal or unequal, angles of inclination of sections are made equal or unequal. Sections are implemented in the form of pits. Axes of sections are located perpendicularly or obliquely to the horizontal surface, lengths of sections are equal or unequal, hydraulic resistances of gas-liquid mix supply branch pipes are equal or unequal. The water drainage branch pipes are located inside sections. Oil removal branch pipes are connected to sidewalls of sections. Water drainage branch pipes are implemented with a possibility of length variation. The distances between axes of sections are equal or unequal, axes of sections are located in one or different vertical planes. Walls of sections contact or don't contact among themselves, the top end of each section is plugged.
EFFECT: technical result is increase of intensity of separation process.
