FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: conveyor belt rubberised fabric workpiece comprises fabric liners with intermediate material fitted there between, pieces of material (PM) e.g. of film, or paper, or isolation fabric of identical or different length arranged between said fabric liners, above top liner and below bottom liner, protective cover and sides. Said PM are arranged in groups of two pieces arranged between fabric liners and attached to overlying and underlying liners. Adjacent PMs located on different sides of fabric liner are shifted relative to each other in lengthwise direction to overlap crosswise edges. Claimed process comprises curing of rubberised fabric workpiece, cutting of conveyor belt to lengths and their packing. Protective covers and fabric liners are cut in width, in turns from above and from below, with cutting line cross the transverse boundary of PM abutting on fabric liner from below. Note here that a part of top or bottom protective cover and fabric liners is bent off. Now cut PM strips are removed.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of production.
