FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for protection of air intake grates with louvres from frosting. The device contains hollow louvres for laying inside them of the heating cable and filling with heat-conducting substance of cavity of louvres. End faces of elements of stiffening ribs are made convex to match the bent convex outlines of the louvres and installed between them. Transition of the heating cable from one part of louvres into another is performed through open end faces. Unfilled parts of cavities of louvres are filled with heat-conducting substance, for example quartz sand, and the edge frame is connected to external end face parts of stiffening ribs.
EFFECT: protection of air intake grates against frosting is achieved at low temperatures of ambient air.
