FIELD: fire safety.

SUBSTANCE: method of fire extinguishing in land transport consists in the fact that in the vehicle walls the cavities-air ducts are made, which are connected with the compressed air receiver. The receiver is connected to the compressor. The windows in vehicles are made in the form of sealed covers, which are held in the closed position in the absence of fire and opened in case of fire in the area by the reversing electromagnetic drive. The container with the fire extinguishing agent, equipped with a siphon tube and an air nozzle, is connected to the cavity-air duct through the pulse valve. The valve is designed to create repeated-short-term explosive exhausts of compressed air with the portions of fire extinguishing agent dispersed in it. Near each window a temperature sensor is mounted, setting signals to the control unit of fire extinguishing on fire break-out and its termination. On the signal of the temperature sensor using the reversing electromagnetic valve a window cover is opened. The fire zone is extinguished with dispersed portions of the fire extinguishing agent in the area of the open cover of the cavity-air duct window. After completion the fire extinguishing the signal is given from the temperature sensor to the control unit of fire extinguishing on the temperature lowering. The command is issued to the reversing electromagnetic drive of this window, which closes the latter.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and rapidness of fire extinguishing.
