FIELD: fire-fighting means.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the objects where a water mass in fire extinguishing does an irreparable harm. The method consists in the fact that group fire extinguishing means are used to supply pulse interruptable compressed air to storing places for individual fire extinguishing means set on each floor of fire-hazardous constructions. The latter are designed as spray fire extinguishers which are used to supply the groups of premises and to perform the air expulsions suppressing the flame tips. The air expulsions are combined with fire extinguishing water-drop injections, repeated short-term injections of powder clouds or air mechanical foam, and in fire suppression in the hot objects and equipment - repeated short-term injections of a fire extinguishing aerosol. The group fire extinguishing means of the device have facilities for generation and distribution of explosion compressed air pulses, and gate hoses for coupling with the spray fire extinguishers which enable supplying explosion compressed air pulses through their nozzles together with the injections of fire extinguishing water-drop, aerosol clouds or air mechanical foam.
EFFECT: invention provides reduced harm in fire extinguishing.
