SUBSTANCE: tobacco product package (1) contains: an inner container (3) accommodating a group of tobacco products (2), having an open upper end (5) and containing a pivotally mounted cover (6) to cover the open upper end (5); an outer container (4) accommodating the inner container (3) so that to enable the inner container (3) sliding relative to the outer container (4) between the closed configuration and the open configuration and a sealing flap (22) pivotally mounted on the upper edge of the front wall (17) of the inner container (4) and movable between the operational position wherein the sealing flap (22) is perpendicular to the front wall (17) of the outer container (4) and positioned under the upper wall (12) of the inner container (3) cover (6) and the initial position wherein the sealing flap (22) is parallel to the front wall (17) of the outer container (4).

EFFECT: ensuring invariably correct positioning of the sealing flap when the cigarette pack is closed ie the sealing flap always automatically returns from the initial position to the operating position as soon as the inner container is pushed into the outer container.
