FIELD: weapon and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: propellant explosive is based on that boron or beryllium exothermically reacts with nitrogen and increases the energy of reaction. The threefold (three components) and double two-energy reactions (nitrogen-boron, metal-oxygen) occur where the first component is boron hydride of metal, the second one is the oxidizer containing the bound nitrogen, and the third - metal or boron where the ratio of the first two components is taken proceeding from the balance "boron-nitrogen", and then the quantity of the third component is taken proceeding from the balance "oxygen-metal and if it is contained in the third component, boron", and hydrogen is not oxidized and emitted as a result of reaction.
EFFECT: increase of initial speed of shells and bullets by emission of mainly hydrogen due to use of two energy reactions - oxidation of carbon, boron or metals, and formation of boron nitride, higher in comparison with other reactions heat emission, regulation of rate of burning of charge.
