FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a powdered adhesive for textile reinforcing inserts, which is capable of dispersing in water, for producing reinforced rubber articles. Described is a powdered adhesive for textile reinforcing inserts, capable of dispersing in water, which consists of: (A) 35-95 wt % of at least one at least partially capped, low-molecular isocyanate, wherein said at least one low-molecular isocyanate to be capped has molecular weight less than or equal to 500 g/mol, (B) 0.1-10 wt % of at least one wetting agent, (C) 5-40 wt % of at least one binder selected from a group consisting of polyvinyl alcohols, polyacrylic acid salts, polyacrylic acid copolymer salts and mixtures of said compounds, (D) 0-5 wt % of at least one catalyst and (E) 0-10 wt % of at least one additive, wherein the ratios of components (A)-(E) add up to 100 wt %. Also described is a method of producing a powdered adhesive for textile reinforcing inserts, which is capable of dispersing in water, which comprises the following steps: (i) producing, by mixing, a dispersion consisting of (A) 35-94.9 wt % of at least one low-molecular isocyanate, (B) 0.1-10 wt % of at least one wetting agent, (C) 5-40 wt % of at least one binder, (D) 0-5 wt % of at least one catalyst and (E) 0-10 wt % of at least one additive, the ratios of the components (A)-(E) adding up to 100 wt %; (ii) grinding the dispersion and (iii) drying the dispersion. Also disclosed is use of said adhesive for processing reinforcing inserts to produce reinforced rubber products.
EFFECT: obtaining adhesives in the form of free-flowing, low-dust powder with small particles size which is dispersible in water.
