FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: bedder planter comprises ridgers fixed to the frame, sowing machines, compacting rollers. In front of the ridgers the hoes-openers are mounted. The hoes-openers and the ridgers are mounted on each planting section of the bedder planter in the form of a triangle in a staggered order, and the hoe-opener is the apex of this triangle. The compacting rollers are located behind the ridgers with the possibility of changing its position in the vertical plane and adjustment of pressure on the soil. The longitudinal axes of symmetry of the compacting rollers coincide with a line of seeds sown. The compacting rollers comprise a frame, spherical discs, an axis, a rod with a spring, and a sealing drum. The sealing drum is mounted on the axis with the ability of free rotation. On the outer surface of the sealing drum along the helical line the loosening elements are located, and the direction of rotation of the helical line starts from the axis of symmetry of the sealing drum, which coincides with the line of seeds sown, and is extended towards the spherical discs.

EFFECT: improvement of quality of planting of row crops, and the formation of soil ridges over the seeds sown.
