FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: ridge drill comprises ridge formers 4, sowing units 2, packer wheels 3, fixed on the frame. Shovels-openers 41 are installed in front of the ridge formers 4. The packer wheels comprise a composite frame, spherical discs, bars with springs. The spherical discs are mounted with their convex side to the longitudinal symmetry axis of the wheel with the possibility to change the approach angle of the spherical discs symmetrically relative to the longitudinal symmetry axis of the wheel 3 at the same angle, the opening of which is directed toward the ridge drill movement, and to fix it in a determined position. Between the spherical discs on the axis at regular intervals flat discs are mounted, the outer contour of which is made multifaceted and sharpened bilaterally. The number of the flat discs is odd. The central disc is arranged on the line of the longitudinal symmetry axis of the wheel. The vertices of flat disks form a helical line, the beginning of which coincides with the longitudinal symmetry axis of the wheel 3 and is directed from the longitudinal symmetry axis of the wheel 3 to the spherical discs. The longitudinal symmetry axes of the packer wheels 3 coincide with the sown seeds line.

EFFECT: invention will allow to improve the quality of planting tilled crops.
