SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system of open development for removal of material from the site of open mining. The system comprises a shearer made with the ability to move laterally along the working face and comprising a rotary cutting element mounted on the end of the vertically extending cutting console, and made with the ability to remove the material from the site of open mining, a face conveyor extending along the working face, comprising a discharge part and made with the ability of transportation of the material removed from the site of open mining, in the direction of the discharge part, and the shearer is set on the face conveyor for movement relative to the face conveyor in a direction substantially parallel to the working face, and for movement with the face conveyor in the direction substantially perpendicular to the working face, and multiple devices of the conveyor movement, connected to the face conveyor and made with the ability to move the face conveyor to the working face as removing the material by the shearer from the working face, at that each device of the conveyor movement has a fixed position, in which the device of the conveyor movement is substantially fixed relative to the working face, and the unsecured position, in which the device of the conveyor movement can be moved relative to the working face.

EFFECT: technical result is to simplify and improve the efficiency of the notching process.
