FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: voltage converter of resonant type comprising power transistors (power controlled keys), forming a bridge circuit, a resonant LC-circuit, a power transformer with primary and secondary windings, a power current rectifier of the second winding, an output filter capacitor, an additional transformer is connected with primary and secondary windings and an additional rectifier. At the same time connection of the primary winding of the additional transformer is made in parallel to the capacitor of the resonant LC-winding, and connection of the secondary winding of the additional transformer is made via an additional rectifier to power supply buses of the voltage converter.
EFFECT: increased reliability of operation of a voltage converter of resonant type, on the basis of limitation at any pre-selected level of energy accumulated in elements of a resonant LC-circuit.
