FIELD: agriculture; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: device for main deep rotor vertical-rod soil treatment comprises frame with towing device for connection to tractor. On the frame there fixed are grids for final destruction of large soil lumps through comb-like grids by pins of up to 35 cm, fixed along the perimeter of deep ripper. Width of the vertical soil layer of the pins is controlled by the rotor rpm from the rotating drive wheels. Wheels transmit the rotation of the deep ripper rotor shafts to the pin reduction gear by means of pins. Pins are arranged on inner surface of drive wheels in constant engagement with pins arranged on end flanges of deep tiller shafts, having reduced diameter relative to drive wheels, which freely rotate in bearings attached to frame. Pointed grousers are fixed rigidly on the outer rim of the wheel. Grousers completely enter the soil layer under the own weight of the deep ripper. Drive from uniformly fixed pins on inner surface of drive wheels in constant engagement with pins, fixed on rotor shaft flanges, is actuated by open pin gearbox, transmitting from them rotation energy to pins, fixed in a circle on rotor shafts and bent along rotor rotation direction towards tractor unit movement. In the method of the main vertical-plug-in soil treatment, the above-described device is used.

EFFECT: destruction of large soil lumps, removal of weeds, reduction of traction force.
