FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a copolyamide resin and a method for production thereof, a copolyamide resin composition and to a cast film and a moulded article. The copolyamide resin contains a diamine component which contains two or more diamines, and a dicarboxylic acid component. The diamine component contains 70 mol % or more of xylylenediamine, which contains 20 mol % or more of p-xylylenediamine. The dicarboxylic acid component contains 70 mol % or more of a straight-chain aliphatic dicarboxylic acid with 6-18 carbon atoms. The copolyamide resin contains particles obtained from a polyamide, having an external diameter of 50 mcm or more, in amount of 1000 parts/g or less. The melting point of the polyamide is higher than that of the copolyamide resin by 20°C or more when measured by differential scanning calorimetry. A method of producing the copolyamide resin includes polycondensation of the diamine component and the dicarboxylic acid component in the absence of a solvent in an periodic-action reaction vessel equipped with a partial condenser. The diamine component is added to the molten diacarboxylic acid component continuously or periodically while maintaining manometric pressure inside the reaction vessel at 0.1 MPa or higher. Temperature of the reaction system is kept at a level which enables to maintain the entire reaction system in a fluid state. The vapour phase in the reaction vessel is heated to a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point of a nylon salt containing the diamine component and the dicarboxylic acid component before adding 80% of the full amount of the diamine component. The copolyamide resin composition contains the following components, in pts.wt: 100 said copolyamide resin, 0-30 talc, 10-150 inorganic filler. A cast film is obtained by melting the copolyamide resin. A moulded article is obtained by moulding the copolyamide resin or resin composition.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a homogeneous copolyamide resin with good mouldability, as well as moulded articles with improved mechanical properties and heat resistance.
