SUBSTANCE: invention refers to physics of material contact interaction of a both natural, and damaged ponderable medium in mass and at a crest of slopes. The parameters of an angle of internal friction φstr and a specific cohesion сstr of the sampled medium taken at a depth h of the ponderable material mass are determined in the laboratory environment. The dependences φd=arcsin[2sinφstr/(1+sin2φstr)]- φstr, cd=cstr[2-tgφd/tgφstr] are used to derive the parameters of an angle of internal friction and a specific cohesion of the structurally damaged medium at a survey depth respectively, wherein pn=(γstrh-cstr)ctgφstr is a natural pressure at the depth h. A tangential natural pressure at the depth h is defined as τxy=px=py=γstrh·cos2φstr. The dependence derived by the author is used to determine the parameters of a coefficient of general lateral pressure of the medium at rest

Coefficients of general relative lateral distortion of the medium mass are determined according to the dependence derived by the author
