FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: altimeter includes an RS trigger and each measuring unit of inclined distance includes the second key the output of which is connected to the control input of a light-sensitive device with charge coupling of the measuring unit of inclined distance. The information input of the second key serves as the first input of the measuring unit of inclined distance, the second input of which is represented by the control input of the key, the third input of the measuring unit of inclined distance is represented by the input of a power source that is controllable, and the second output of each measuring unit of inclined distance is represented by the output of a pulse counter, with that, R input of the RS trigger is connected to the second output of the first measuring unit of inclined distance, and S input of the RS trigger is connected to the second output of the second measuring unit of inclined distance, the third input of which is connected parallel to R output of the RS trigger with the second input of the first measuring unit of inclined distance, the third input of which is connected parallel to S input of the RS trigger to the second input of the second measuring unit of inclined distance.

EFFECT: enlarging the range of measured altitudes of an airborne vehicle.
