FIELD: measurement of flight altitude of flight vehicle at low altitudes (tens of meters) at a take-off, landing, execution of installation work on a helicopter, flight control of a pilotless flight vehicle.
SUBSTANCE: the device has two identical units for measurement of the slant range. Each unit for measurement of the inclined range has two objective lenses positioned in the same plane and separated by base distance 1, light emitter, power unit, line instrument with a charge-dependent coupling, threshold amplifier, key, memory register, pulse counter, slant range computer. Besides, the device has flight altitude computing units and units controlling the synchronous operation of all the device components: a subtraction unit, pitch angle computing unit, sinβ computing unit, two multiplying units, addition unit, recorder, storage unit containing information on the distance between the slant range measuring unit, shift pulse generator and a synchronizing generator.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measurement of low flight altitudes of flight vehicle.
