FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining optimal process parameters for moving plug in nuclear reactor consists in at least 5-time movement at test stand of plug dummy with plug transportation dummy installed on it in the dummy of change-over box in 5 stages at different efforts simulating buoyancy force acting on the plug. Optimal parameters of moving mechanisms are determined for the dummy of change-over box. Buoyancy force is simulated by a hydraulic actuator discreetly. At that at each stage pressure value is set for the hydraulic actuator, which corresponds to averaged value of buoyancy force acting on the plug within the respective range of submerged depths. According to the observed data optimal process parameters are selected for moving plug of the nuclear reactor.
EFFECT: reduced downtime in process of maintenance and repair operations.
