FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: steel contains the following in wt %: C: from 0.01 to 0.3, Si: from 0.01 to 2, Mn: from 0.01 to 2, P: maximum 0.10; S: maximum 0.03, Cr: from 7.5 to 14.0, sol. Al: maximum 0.3, N: from 0.005 to 0.15; Fe and contaminating impurities - rest. On steel surface an oxide film is made excluding oxygen and carbon, from 25 to 97% Fe and from 3 to 75% Cr.
EFFECT: steel has high photoselective absorbing capacity, and resistance to oxidation.
