FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to production of shells with bicurved convexed surface by methods of serial or rotary-local deformation. Shaping by serial or rotary-local deformation of bicurved sheet parts like spherical, toroidal-spherical and sail-like shells is performed along blank edges toward its gravity centre in helical lines.
EFFECT: lower labour input, decreased amount of unavoidable tapering and cold working, hence, higher quality and serviceability of resultant structures.
