FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of examination and analysis of substances based on quaternary ammonium compounds by chemical methods, namely by means of chemical indicators, and is intended for express-detection of active substance of disinfectants on object surfaces. Express-detection is realised by spraying indicator composition, representing 0.5-1.5 wt % alcohol solution of trinitrotoluene in ethyleneglycol, on analysed surface by means of aerosol device. Detection of disinfection completeness is carried out not less than 0.5 h and not later than 1.5 hour after carrying out processing by appearance of characteristic indicator effect - brown coloration of object surface.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase exploitation possibilities in express-detection of substances due to increase of storage term and range of application of indicator formulation, as well as provides convenience and safety of work, protection of the environment and possibility of carrying out express-detection on vertical, inclined and horizontal surfaces.
