FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method includes combustion of a sample of tested fuel in volume of gas, measurement of reactive force of leaking combustion products, besides, combustion of the fuel sample is carried out in a flow of oxygen-containing high-temperature gas with parameters corresponding to blowing of solid fuel charge in an engine on location, simultaneously with the tested fuel sample they blow with the same gas flow a geometrically identical inert imitator in the opposite direction. The tested fuel sample and the imitator are placed in separate identical modules, each made as capable of modelling an afterburning chamber of an engine on location. Also a device is proposed for realisation of this method.
EFFECT: increased validity of detection.
