FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention suggests compensator of thermobaric alterations in the pipe string length with pitch oscillation damping, which is made of several pipes interconnected by sleeves and nuts and is composed of a body consisting of two parts - the lower part and the upper one. At that in the lower part there is a rod with a mounted spring that compensates downward stroke of the pipe string limited by a slide-fit sleeve in the lower part at the one side and by a nut at the other side. Linear dimensions, stroke of the spring and working gap between the slide-fit sleeve and the lower limiting nut may be permanent with allowance for stroke or selected from the assumed downward stroke of the pipe string. At that the compensator is coupled to the pipe string by means of a tube, which is by means of a sleeve is connected to the rod, and further a spring compensating upward stroke is mounted at the rod and at that it is limited by nuts screwed into the lower and upper bodies. The springs may be completed with ring spacers in order to exclude their sticking or falling down. In the upper body there is a slide-fit sleeve connecting the rod with the upper tube, which stroke is limited by nuts screwed into the upper body. Linear dimensions, stroke of the spring and working gap between the slide-fit sleeve and the upper limiting nut may be permanent with allowance for stroke or selected from the assumed upward stroke of the pipe string. Connecting piece is screwed into the upper nut, and through cross-over shoe it connected the compensator to the pipe string, at that by spring compensation is carried out for downward and/or upward stroke of the pipe string with simultaneous oscillation damping.

EFFECT: simplified design and manufacturing technology, increased reliability and efficiency of the compensator operation in case thermobaric alterations in length of the pipe string.
