FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: piezoelectric exciter converting the reference frequency electric frequency is used to develop in-phase mechanical stresses in two identical piezoelectric converters. The converters are mounted on the bed and connected with the exciter that doubles as the trial weight converting the apparent acceleration into antiphased mechanical stresses in identical piezoelectric converters. Then, the difference in electric signals picked off said identical piezoelectric converters is defined which makes the reference frequency signal with amplitude proportional to apparent acceleration. Reference frequency difference signal is converted into DC signal proportional to said apparent acceleration.
EFFECT: expanded frequency range of piezoelectric accelerometers.
