FIELD: radio engineering, communication.
SUBSTANCE: single-sphere antenna system comprises a radioparent protective cover with partial metal coating, made in the form of a sphere. Part of the inner surface of the sphere is metal-coated and is the antenna reflector. The sphere is mounted on a fragment of a spherical base using single-ball bearings. A permanent magnet is attached to the inner surface of the radioparent protective cover, and on the outer surface - an electromagnet and a low-noise amplifier and a frequency converter, mounted on a common platform, movable on the outer surface of the radioparent protective cover. In the lower part of the cover there is a centring load made of radioparent material, which slides on the inner surface of the radioparent protective cover and is therefore always situated on the base of the radioparent protective cover.
EFFECT: simple design of the antenna system.
