FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise-reducing structures and is intended for protection of the urbanized territories from negative acoustic and noise influence. The method of improvement of efficiency of noise-reducing screens is based on absorption of the acoustic signal falling on the screen due to properties of resonant absorption according to which to provide the additional absorption of acoustic beams dissipated on the top edge of the screen the noise-attenuating screen is used implemented in the form of the parallelepiped formed by front and back panels. The front panel there has slot-hole perforation, and between panels the noise-attenuating insert is installed. Front and back panels are made of any dense materials, and the back panel is implemented in the form of the box which is tightly attached to the front panel. The box profile is designed so that the distance between internal surfaces of the box wall and the front panel is variable. The box profile, slot width, its depth are selected so that to provide the most optimum absorption in the frequency range, characteristic for specific conditions of the urbanized territory. The top part of the screen has the additional resonator in various versions of design. Depth of the resonator and sizes of the mouths are selected so that to provide the best mode of absorption of the acoustic beams dissipated on the top edge of the screen.

EFFECT: invention allows to expand the spectrum range of the sound frequencies absorbed by the screen and to improve efficiency of protection against acoustic and noise pollution.
