FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: screen is made in the form of a shell containing the first and second oppositely lying shields, partitions and peripheral walls, which are connected to form separated tubular acoustic resonators, the necks of which are located on peripheral walls of the shell. Said cavities are formed to form quarter-wave, damped on one side, acoustic resonators. Screen can also contain cavities formed with formation of half-wave acoustic resonators open on both sides. Part of the inner cylindrical surface of quarter-wave resonators is lined with a sound-absorbing lining containing a layer of porous sound-absorbing material located on the side of the cylindrical surface and a layer of a protective sound-transparent film located on the side of the cavity.
EFFECT: effective reduction of acoustic noise.
