FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method for implementing a hydromassage scanner for carrying out hydrotherapeutic procedures using a horizontal motion of a tube actuated by an electromechanical drive with a reversible motor; the above tube is arranged transverse to a patient's body and has a plugged end, whereas its other end is connected to a water source of a water-inlet pipe with a water spray formation elements directed to the patient; the water-inlet pipe is configured rotatable about its axis, locked in a pre-set position and mounted on a carriage configured reciprocating on parallel guides at a pre-set height and in a pre-set area along the patient's position direction. The parallel guides are mounted on a panel by means of collars and/or support arms; the panel is secured in turn, depending on the location either on a bathroom wall, or on support members resting directly on the floor, or connected to a bed assembly respectively. The first guide bears arm supports attached by means of mounting collars, rigidly connected to the mounting collars and used to bear the reversible motor and two tooth wheels mounted in bearing parts; the tooth wheels are configured so that a tooth belt or a loop chain is movable along it; an axis of one of them is an output shaft of the reversible motor or connected thereto through a gear assembly; the reversible motor enables reciprocation of the first guide rigidly connected to the toothed belt or loop chain and having rollers movable in grooves. The carriage is connected by means of the collar with the water-inlet pipe, which is L-shaped and detachable to enable changing a type of the water spray formation elements used or repositioning the water-inlet pipe from horizontally into vertically along the panel with the mounted equipment. The second guide to used to carry the roller movable thereon and connected to the collar also mounted on the water-inlet pipe; a collar axis has a support arm bearing firing actuators of treated area dimension sensors movable on the support arms provided with position regulators along either first, or dedicated guide. A flexible hose connected to the water source and attachable from the other side to a threaded element of a connection of the water-inlet pipe at least when the scanner is positioned in the bathroom is movable along two mounting stands attached to the panel at different levels on the periphery of a bath tub or a bed.

EFFECT: enhancing, reducing mass and dimensions, facilitating the use of the scanner, as well as ensuring effectiveness and quality of hydrotherapeutic procedures.
