FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pyrotechnical compositions burning to generate smoke applicable for laying screening smoke. The pyrotechnical composition of screening smoke contains, wt %: hexachlorethane 54-62, zinc oxide 6-8, aluminium powder 27-29, an organic binding agent - pine rosin 3-5 and chlorinated paraffin wax KhP-470.
EFFECT: composition provides an improved screening ability in both a visible electromagnetic radiation spectrum, and IR region, at a lower burning speed that extends engineering capabilities and a field of use of smoke-generating charges of the presented composition.
