FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: claimed device consists of single-screw machine. Screw of the machine makes the propulsor for uniform feed of batched amount of mechanical power to reversed multiphase flow and doubles as a sensitive element of the meter. The mode of measurement is supported by the two-circuit ACS. Internal (actuation) circuit of said ACS composed of the motor, tachometer and frequency inverter varies screw direction and rpm for timing with multiphase flow volume throughput. External (master) circuit composed of differential pressure transducer, thrust bearing screw axial force transducer, temperature transducer, controller and mathematic simulation unit, generates the setting of screw direction and rpm timed with multiphase flow volume throughput. Registrator is used to store and to output to the request the measured parameters and multiphase flow volumetric and mass flow magnitudes calculated in mathematical simulation unit, as multiphase flow density and motion direction.
EFFECT: decreased number of errors, enlarged measurement range, higher sensitivity, reliability and validity of the results of measurement and calculation, expanded application range.
