FIELD: food industry.

SUBSTANCE: support (1) for stable placement of a watermelon or melon has the shape of a round plate with a bottom and (2) an outer board (3). The support contains an additional inner board (4) positioned concentrically and with an annular interspace (5) relative to the outer board (3). The height of the inner annular board (4) is lower than the height of the outer board (3). On their upper parts the boards (3) and (4) there are support surfaces (6) and (7) with fixation elements designed in the form of pins (8) and (9), while from above, radial slots (10) and (11) dividing the boards (3) and (4) into equal segments (12) and (13) are made in the boards. The radial slots (11) made in the inner board (4) are positioned opposite the corresponding radial slots (10) made in the outer board (3).

EFFECT: enhancement of stability and reliability of fixation without pulp integrity damage as well as possibility of space-efficient storage of several analogous supports in one pile.
