FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: spermatic cord is determined with palpation. It is drawn for fixing, and then a syringe needle is inserted into the interior of the spermatic cord. After insertion the needle is rotated upwards at an angle of 45є and with a noticeable pressure on the syringe plunger the spermatic cord is densely infiltrated with the preparation comprising: glutaric acid dialdehyde - 20-60 g/l, dimethylsulfoxide or glycerol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, propylene glycol, a polymer of oxyethylene - 200-500 g/l, cincoccaine hydrochloride or dicain, trimecain, bencain, lidocaine - at doses for local anaesthesia, water - the rest. After that, in the area of administration the cord induration is palpable. At that the dose for a reliable sclerosing the cord is 5-7 ml of the preparation.

EFFECT: method enables to simplify and increase the efficiency of castration of farm animals.
