FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: damping device (1) comprises two drives (A1, A2) arranged between vehicle bogie (W) and body (B) and controller (C). Drive comprises cylinder (2), piston (3), rod (4), rod chamber (5) and piston chamber (6), and tank (7). First two-way valve (9) is arranged in first channel (8) extending between rod and piston chambers. Second two-way valve (11) is arranged in second channel (10) extending between piston chamber and tank. Pump (12) force working fluid to rod chamber. Discharging channel (21) communicates said rod chamber with said tank. Controlled safety valve (22) is located in said discharging channel to very the valve opening pressure. Drive is heated at opening of said first and second two-way valves to ser the safety valve opening pressure to minimum level. After damping device actuation and to transition to normal control mode for suppression of vehicle body vibration the pump is started.
EFFECT: prevention of occurrence of whatever axial stresses in drive heating process.
