SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to veterinary and can be used in insemination of pigs. In accordance with invention method includes introduction of gonadotropin-releasing hormone to pig on the fourth day after weaning, with pig being inseminated one time at 15-24 hours after hormone introduction. Composition in accordance with invention contains agonist of gonadotropin-releasing hormone and gel and has pH 5.0-6.0. Set in accordance with invention contains composition and instructions for application.
EFFECT: application of inventions makes it possible to optimise fertility and increase percentage of gestating pigs, and increase percentage of farrowing and number of piglets.
