SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agriculture, in particular to feed additives and feeding methods. The premix contains a nitrate compound in an amount of more than 50% by weight of the premix, vitamins and microelements. This premix is made up for use in at least one of the stages of gestation or lactation of a monogastric animal, and in an amount of less than five percent by weight (5.0% by wt.) of inclusion per metric ton of the premix. The premix increases the vasodilation of the placenta and mammary glands in a monogastric animal. A feed additive for monogastric animals for feeding during at least one of the stages of gestation and/or lactation of a monogastric animal contains a compound forming nitric oxide in an amount of less than 10 kg per metric ton of total feed weight. The compound that forms nitric oxide increases the vasodilation of the placenta and mammary glands of a monogastric animal.

EFFECT: use of a group of inventions allows increase in the vasodilation of the placenta and mammary glands in a monogastric animal.
