FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: digitally controlled logarithmic amplifier comprises input resistor, operation amplifier with function of generation of output voltage proportional to logarithm from input voltage by means of piecewise linear approximation, analogue-to-digital converter, bank of resistors and plug resistance, at that control code for keys is generated by the analogue-to-digital converter, and more significant digits of output code come to the key switching resistance in bank of resistors while less significant digits of output code come to the key switching resistance plug resistance.

EFFECT: generation by the amplifier of output voltage proportional to input voltage logarithm by means of piecewise linear approximation.
