FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: hydromagnetic gas cleaner contains: silo 1; knockout drum 13 with function of the deflector in gas exhaust pipe 6 and in zone of its tangential interfacing with inclined washing trunk-swirler 3, in it atomizer 11 and inclined metal staggered shelves 4 out of magnetically soft perforated material are installed; tank 7 with washing sea water or urea, and pumps 8 for its transfer from silo 1 to tank 7 and trunk 3; automatics system ensuring liquid level regulation in silo 1. During operation due to focusing of the magnetic field with high energy, vortex generation, and gas/liquid contact in trunk 3 the toxic gases are neutralized, as well as wetting, coagulation, separation and extraction of solid toxic particles from the washed gas flow, and their falling out to the silo 1. The cleaned gas with water droplets under twisting enters the knockout drum 13, where its after-cleaning and water separation are performed, and flowing down droplets and solid particles via the settler 23 fall out in the silo.
EFFECT: increased quality of gases cleaning of nitrogen oxides, sulphur oxides, carbon oxides, soot and other components.
