FIELD: gas purification.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wet cleaning of contaminated gases of mechanical impurities, dust, aerosols, vapors and gas impurities and can be used in chemical, mining, metallurgical and other industries. Technical result is achieved due to that the device for wet cleaning of gases comprises a housing, which includes an ascending channel, inlet and outlet branch pipes, a tray with a drain nozzle for discharging used sprinkling liquid, a box installed above the housing, a dispersing grid installed inside the ascending channel above the above tray, a drop catcher installed inside the ascending channel; wherein housing is configured to supply sprinkling liquid over dispersing grate, and additionally comprises gas distribution channel with separating partition installed in it, redirecting inlet and outlet flows; at that said gas distributing channel and ascending channel are separated by inner wall of the housing.
EFFECT: reduced internal hydraulic resistance with simultaneous reduction of overall dimensions.
