SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the intermediate heating burner device and mode of operation of gas-turbine unit with consecutive combustion. The intermediate heating burner device is provided for the second combustion chamber of the gas-turbine unit. The gas-turbine unit contains the first burning device with the first combustion chamber and the first burner and the second combustion device with the second combustion chamber and the second burner. The burner device contains the channel with the cross section area, the central body, the fuel injection plane. The fuel injection plane is located along the length of the central body. The central body is located in the channel upstream the second combustion chamber and ends at the inlet of the second combustion chamber. The cross section of the channel limited by the second burner and by the subsequent second combustion chamber increases in steps from release of the second burner to the inlet of the second combustion chamber. The ratio of the perimeter of cross section of release of the second burner to the perimeter of cross section of inlet of the second combustion chamber amounts from 0.6 up to 1.

EFFECT: simplification of development of components of gas-turbine unit.
