FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: pneumatic-mechanical planting unit comprises a hopper, a drum-guide of seeds mounted on the bottom of the intake chamber with a mechanical drive, a plate reflector of superfluous seeds, and a channel of high pressure for forced ejection of seeds to the drill tube by the air flow from the source of high air pressure. On the outer surface of the drum-guide of seeds the ribs are made, and it is connected to the horizontal seed feeding channel to the sowing cell. On the bottom of the cell there is a circular opening. The channel of high pressure is formed in the drum mounted in the stationary housing with the ability of rotation and intermittent communication of the channel of high pressure with a circular opening at the bottom of the sowing cell when the seeds achieve the said cell. At that the diameter of the opening is equal to 1.50÷2.00 mm and the pressure in the system is equal to 0.28÷0.33 MPa. The ribs of the drum-guide are made of silicone material, and the drill tube - of polypropylene.

EFFECT: invention enables to improve the distribution of seeds in the soil with simultaneous reduction of their damage.
