FIELD: aircraft engineering.
SUBSTANCE: claimed process consists in the variation of parachute working mode subject to aircraft speed data at emergency used the catapult seat control system that outputs the electric instruction for pyro lock release. Parachute calotte filling is intensified owing to making of calotte top part from two-ply fabric with outer ply reefed nearby pole opening by reefing ring. The latter is broken at high flight speed at the moment of catapulting. Or, after unreefing band locking pyro lock release, said reefing ring stays intact at low flight speed to develop an extra resistance to air flow through the calotte top area. Claimed system comprises the catapult seat control system, reefing ring, pyro lock fitted at the catapult seat headrest, reefing belt with top part secured at the pyro lock while bottom end is secured by it suture to the calotte. Calotte top part includes the extra fabric shell low air permeability. Said shell is composed of several sectors sawn by its lower edge to parachute transverse carcass band while its upper parts abut on the parachute pole opening and are secured by reefing ring to the parachute carcass.
EFFECT: expanded speed range at catapulting.
