FIELD: aeronautical engineering; rescue of crew in an emergency. SUBSTANCE: ejection seat includes seat proper, head-rest with life-saving parachute, system for automatic change of modes of operation, switch and ejection gun provided with device for changing its working pressure which consists of housing located on lower end of inner tube of ejection gun with two electric cartridge whose working chambers are connected with two plungers having bores on their cylindrical parts. Working chamber of cartridge of ejection gun has two passages for communication with atmosphere. Besides that, seat is provided with powder jet engine with two swivel nozzles and device for change of magnitude of resultant thrust vector. Device consists of power cylinder with two pistons connected with swivel nozzles by means of rods and two electric cartridges. Working chamber of one of cartridges is connected with before-piston chamber of cylinder; working chamber of other cartridge is connected with after-piston chambers of cylinder. EFFECT: proper control of ejection force depending on mass of pilot and mode of operation of aircraft at moment of accident; improved operational characteristics. 3 cl, 3 dwg
