FIELD: motors and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: rocket motor comprises a combustion chamber, a plate charge of solid fuel of solid and perforated discs, the lateral surface of which is coated with restriction coating, and a nozzle. The plate charge consists of successive sets of perforated and solid discs. In the perforated discs there are at least three symmetrically arranged through-holes with a diameter of at least 0.5 mm, connecting at the rear side of the disc with the grooves having the section of at least 0.25 mm2. The restriction coating is made of an elastic material, and the thickness of the perforated disc and the nozzle throat section area are determined by the relations protected by the present invention.
EFFECT: invention enables to improve the coefficient of volume filling of a rocket motor at a high value of mass burning rate.
