FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: for implementation of the proposed method of evaluation of impact effect of raindrops on a horizontal surface in the centre of the target substrate with marked concentric circles a soil sample is placed, the soil sample is watered with raindrops, the radius of dispersion of soil particles is measured. And the soil samples are additionally treated with spheres, the weight and size of which is identical to weight and size of raindrops, fixing the radii of dispersion of soil particles, which are compared with the radii of dispersion of soil particles measured in the processing of soil samples with raindrops. According to the results of comparison the impact effect of raindrops on the soil is assessed, and high level of impact effect of rain on the soil includes the one which comparable characteristics are the lowest.
EFFECT: method extends the functional capabilities of determining the degree of deformation of the droplet in impact on the soil.
